Shorty used to be my cat when I lived in WI and then CA. When I moved to NY he moved in shortly with my parents and now lives with my brother’s family. I miss him sometimes but since I’d developed a very strong allergy to cats he and I are better off living separately.

Christmas Eve.. we don’t feel like cooking dinner so we went out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with my sister-in-law, Amanda’s, family.
Most of these photos are of Jessica because she was soo cute that night. She was so short in the high chair that she could barely see everyone over the table.

On Monday night the Packers were playing and the weather was mild so we decided to have a grill out*. My dad came down and my brother’s friends Brian and Sheila came over.
*In Wisconsin we don’t “have a barbecue” we “grill out” and most of the time when we are grilling out we are grilling out beer-soaked brats.

A few days before Christmas my brother’s wife, Amanda, my nieces, Stephanie and Jessica, and I made cookies for the relatives that would be visiting over for the holiday and also for Santa Claus.
