Ferris Wheel, Toys R Us, Times Square, Manhattan

Crowds of People at Toys R Us, Times Square, Manhattan
I think it’s the number of people that really gets to me inside Toys R Us. That, and it’s all lit up with crazy music playing because it’s in Times Square. And when you walk in you’re greeted with a huge ferris wheel that is as tall as the store’s 3 stories. So people are there for entertainment, not just shopping. And there are little kids running around everywhere. And I wander around for almost 2 hours and still only have one toy picked out. I love shopping for clothes for my nieces but when it comes to toys I never know what to get. I like looking at the toys but when it comes to buying them I never know what is age appropriate for them and since I only see them a couple times a year I’m not sure what they’re into and what they already have. And everything is so foreign to me.

I think it’s a trip that each “car” on the ferris wheel has it’s own theme…

I’ll have to add myself to the crowd. My kid would love it. The only problem I see would be getting her to leave.

I think you are just trying to show up *my pictures of the ferris wheel*, but you certainly did a good job of it at least; those shots are beautiful.

with stephie - i’d go for the “educational” toys. she’s so darn smart - i think she gets the most out of those. and as far as jess… she seemed to love that duck you gave her.
she’s at a pretty easy age. what toy did you buy me?

I hate buying toys for my nephews and nieces, I never know what to get, and I dislike buying toys that I believe causes their brains to rot due to inactivity.
I bought my nieces a lip-balm kit, they love it,they invite friends over and make a party of it.

I live in New York cityand personally perfer to go to the 14th Street Union square Toy r us store because 42nd St is Much to crowed,Its more for the tourist .I mean there is alot to see and do,but if you really just want to run in and pick up some things its there for you and less crowed. At 42nd st your child will get lost.
