Every year Jeannette & Yvan have a Thanksgiving party. Last year it was post-Thanksgiving and I wasn’t able to attend because I was just returning from Florida. This year because of schedules, the party was pre-Thanksgiving and luckily I was able to make it. Jeannette & Yvan invited just a few people over… something like 25! Jeannette made a turkey and a few other dishes and everyone brought food over. There was so much to eat! I stuffed myself silly. My contribution to the spread was homemade pecan pie that I had made the night before. Everything was so yummy! My stomach is all stretched out and I’m prepped for next week when I have Thanksgiving with Kelly, Jeff & Sue in VA.

if and when i a) recover my my mortgage and b) the rental apt next to me goes up for sale and c) i win the lottery, i plan to knock down the wall, create a floor-through, and build a nice huge kitchen!
