  E – you bring up a very interesting question..

  Can you tell what a person’s apt/bedroom looks like from their destop?

  mine definately does… looks neat and organized at first glance but if you look closer there are some random stuff laying around.

  like my real-life spaces, my computer desktops are a disaster to other people, but i can find what i’m looking for quickly (i’ve memorized the locations of folders i access frequently–just like the piles of paper i have lying around are actually in some order).

  similarly, like my real-life spaces, if i try to clean up my computer desktop, i can’t find anything afterwards.

  though in real-life spaces you can’t do a “search the site”, or for that matter, a “command-z”…
