I thought the leaves would be changing in the park but they’re still pretty green for the most part. What a gorgeous autumn day to be outside. The air was crisp, the sun was warm, and the smell.. autumn is one of my favorite smells. It was especially pungent in the Ramble. Excellent.

it’s amazing how fast the leaves change and then fall. last weekend they were mostly green here - but just in one week most of the branches are bare now. and it’s supposed to be 85 degrees today! unreal for october in wisconsin!

yeh, i know.. beautiful cumulus clouds on saturday.. and maybe it was something about the height at which that photo was taken? I was up in the belvedere castle tower and belvedere castle is built on vista rock, the second highest natural elevation in the park
