My Phone Number Has Been Changed, Tribeca, Manhattan
Ted told me that these flyers are being posted all over the neighborhood we live in. When I walked outside of work there was one posted on the sidewalk mailbox. Are they all over Lower Manhattan? I called the phone number expecting something promotional and what I got was a low quality answering machine message, a male voice saying “Hi, you’ve reached my new number. Please leave a message” then the answering machine beeeeeeeeeep. Doing a reverse look-up on AnyWho didn’t yield any results. … must do more investigation. .

Ha ha. There are a whole bunch of these posted on my route to work. I want to tear one down and add it to my “weird flier” collection, which includes “have you seen my white pidgeon?” “lost: white sheep” and a depressing desperate plea from some guy in the west village who lost his “babies,” which amounted to a bag full of cabbage patch kids…

We have things like this is the UK, it preys on peoples curiousity and then costs them a lot of money. I don’t know if this is the same thing however. x
