i’ve been to new york last year for the first time.
a very funky city.
its a shame though that beatiful installation pieces like Murakami’s hardly ever show up in the UK.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been to the big Z, nice place. This Rudy’s sonds interseting. I have a friend who wants to “do Hell’s Kitchen”. Seems plenty of places to pick from.

i used to like to go to a place called Zanzibar. they have the best chocolate martinis i've ever tasted. Here's their site and here's their citysearch profile. If you want a dive bar, Rudy's is a classic.

If you’re in NYC, you should check it out. It’s got this magnetic quality to it. It’s disturbing and repulsive in a way, but stimulating and attractive at the same time.

Speaking of infalatable items, in your forays around Manhattan Rachelle have you come upon the big inflated rat? Thsi big black rat that one of the trade unions likes to take around to non union building sites. It’s a pretty funny/interesting thing to see.
