Compline ceremony at St. Marks Episcopal Cathedral
On our last day in Washington Joanne took us to the Mukilteo Lighthouse and then to Snoqualamie Falls, a water fall that is 100 feet taller than Niagra Falls. We then tried to take the Underground Tour in Pioneer Square, but it was sold out so we went and got dinner at Tawan Thai in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Fremont is where all the Seattle hipsters are. Also there is the world-famous troll, who we stopped to say hello to. The next stop was Gas Works Park at sunset and then we joined Marc for the compline ceremony at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral.
That’s it. The next morning we left early (but not too early, thanks to Marc) for the airport. The trip left me exhausted but it was totally worth it. Great experience. I saw and did many things that I’d never done before. I thank Jeff & Kelly for inviting me to go with them and for putting up with my occasional tired/hungry crabbiness. Also thanks to Joanne and Marc and Larry who all helped to make our vacation both cost efficient and memorable. Thanks!
a sepia photo, old school adidas…classic photo. and that troll is scary.
Wow, that pic of the lighthouse is perfect ! YOu ought to do this for a living ! I cannot believe you did all that in 10 days ! and that you kept track of all the pics and all the information ! You are simply amazing Rachelle, hhhmmm.
I don’t know if you noticed from the lighthouse photo in the ofoto album compared to the lighthouse photo on my site, but i photoshopped kelly & jeff out. jeff was on the left of the lighthouse and kelly was inside the window.
