Central Park Strawberry Fields
Strawberry Fields, Central Park, Manhattan

“When they lived in the nearby Dakota on 72nd Street and Central Park West, John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, adopted this landscape as their favorite oasis in the Park… Yoko Ono later donated $1 million to the Central Park Conservancy to relandscape and to maintain the 2.5-acre tear-drop-shaped parcel of park landscape.” More on Strawberry Fields at the official Central Park site.

I went over to that part of Central Park were they had the Strawberry fields. It was interesting
    Imagine there”s no heaven
    It’s easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

    Imagin there’s no countries
    It isnt hard to do
Nothing to kill for or die for’
    No religion too,
    Imagin all the people
    living life in peace

Imagine no possesions, I wounder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
    A brotherhood of man,
    Imagin all the people,
    Sharing all the world…

You may say Im a Dreamr,
but Iam not the only one’ Ihope some day you,ll join us,
And the world will live as one
I thought this song was one of the best of my era
