Reading feedback like this, I can see why some blogs turn off comments completely. ::eyeroll::

Saw FOW last summer at First Avenue in Minneapolis. Was an excellent live show. Ben Lee opened (would have liked it if Correia had been there too — I’ve got her Carnival Love and really like it).

For all the hullaballoo over Stacy’s Mom, it’s not the best song on the album. No question it’s a good song, but Mexican Wine, Bright Future in Sales, Hackensack and Hey Julie are (imnsho) better overall.

And to the kids out there all jazzed by this “new” group, they’ve got two other albums out in addition to this one, so go snatch them up! (Hey, anything to help spread the Power Pop gospel! ; )
