    how does one get into the ny marathon? i know there is some sort of application process, but i assume you have to have a minimal time for the various groups as well?

    there is a lottery (random), and you can also get in if you run a qualifying time in some other marathons (like the boston).

    congratulations, mr. and mrs. bowden!! that’s fantastic that both of you made it into the NY. it’s going to be wonderful and insane!!!!
