i wish i loved running 1/2 as much as your mom. i have to force myself to get up early and run. i should post this picture somewhere to motivate me!

I’m a member of the NYRRC, and I’ve almost completed 9 races for this year (meaning I can run the 2004 marathon if I want). HAHAHAHAHA!!! Sorry - the idea of me running a marathon makes me laugh. Hehe. I think the furthest I could ever run would be a half-marathon. My little legs can’t carry me no further.
I really hope you get in the marathon this year, Mrs. Bowden! It would be fun to finally meet you and cheer you on!

We’re both registered for the NYC marathon. and we too hope we get in. I think, even if we dont’ get in, we’ll be coming out some weekend. If we don’t, you’ll have to let us know what other “runs” are coming up that are neat to do. When we stayed in geeenich village last 4th of July while we were there i ran nearly daily along the hudson and down around battery park and back. Rick wasn’t a ‘runner’ then. but he wants to go back just to do that ! ! It was awesome. We both ran 1/2 marathon last weekend in Eagle River and another this weekend in Green Bay. Next weekend I do a full marathon in chicago and the next weekend on June 1st a full marathon in San Diego Rock N Roll. Then taking a break for a while. Need to start my inline training too…. Lots of events coming up. I know, I’m nuts. Oh well.
