Mayday

On May 10th 2003, people all over the world took
a photograph every hour to illustrate a day in their lives. This was
my quiet, lazy day. See how other people spent their day on the Mayday
Website
.

7: Woke up.

8: Checked e-mail, the news, surfed, ate cereal.

9: Layed down to read and go back to sleep.
11: Men drilling on the building outside my window woke me up.

12: Dried my hair. Yes, my bathroom really is that skinny. If you’re a guy you’re gonna have to walk sideways.

1: I thought the man making my sandwich was asking about its ingredients. Then I realized he was asking me if I wanted his phone number -"No Charge!" No Thanks.

2: Walking south through the Hudson River Park. This is a view of Jersey, to the west.

3: Eating my sandwich in Battery Park, I noticed this little squirrel rummaging for seeds in the cherry blossoms that have fallen from the trees.

4: Back at home I started to watch The Mothman Prophecies and fell asleep.

5: Afternoon snack.

6: Finished watching The Mothman Prophecies. Richard Gere is getting old. :(

7: I couldn’t decide what I wanted for dinner so I wandered around The Village.

8: Finally, I just went with the old favorite. Plain slice from Joe’s.

9: Checked out other people’s days. Watched back to back episodes of Law & Order then went to bed.
