No Place Else Is Good Enough

Once you've lived in New York, no place else is good enough.

Once you've lived in New York, no place else is good enough.
Bus Stop, West Village, Manhattan

Sometimes I feel this is true. Of course, I haven’t been every place else.. and who knows what could happen tomorrow..

I’m personally not going anywhere anytime soon, I was born here and this is the greatest city in the world. Why else would terrorists try to reak havoc here? Cause it’s basically the center of the free world! I’m plenty happy with my “locked in” low rent in my trendy Astoria Queens neighborhood which is just a hop and skip away into midtown Manhattan where all that beautiful cash is for a seasoned do-it-all professional like myself, and I’ll stay here for a bit longer until I settle down and get a house of my own out on the island… I’ve never been much of a big fan of Joisey… (no offense Shewy), so I don’t think I’d ever consider moving there unless some incredible opportunity presented itself, but that’s highly doubtful. NY is where it’s at.

NY stole my heart three years ago. I wanted to stay, but I had to go back to Europe. This year I was in San Francisco and, damn, I had the same feeling again. hmm…head or tails?
