Which would you rather have?

A cold, frigid day that’s windy but sunny and bright. Or a day with tolerable temperatures that’s drab, gray and rainy? We’ve had both this week.

Tollerable temperatures. I’m sick of being cold.

walt, what do you consider tollerable? today it’s gray and raining, but it’s 40 degrees out. That’s tollerable. Monday it was 12 degrees but bright and sunny. That’s what I meant by frigid.

Tollerable: 70+. Actually, I have a horrible sense of what temperature degrees feel like. I just want it to be warm out. I want to not need to wear a jacket. Sounds freezing in NYC.

  • rachelle

    just as I suspected :)

i want to be able to wear a jacket without a scarf, hat and gloves.

i want to be able to not have to wear a long-sleeve shirt with my shorts and sandals. dash it all!

it’s like 50 out right now. it was beautiful at lunch time. it’s supposed to snow tomorrow, isn’t it.

I hate rainy, cloudy, draby days. I would take artic weather with bright sun over drab days…I only like them to take long naps until the sun comes out.

kelly, i tend to agree with you… too many gray days in a row depresses me. i need sunlight!

this morning’s walk to work was hideous!!! 30 degrees, strong winds, rain, sleet, snow. bah!

There is nothing worse than looking outside and seeing how sunny it is, then finding out later when you actually go outside that it is freezing. I would much rather have a rainy, snowy day as long as its not untollerably cold. Besides, snow is pretty. B.t.w. tollerable temperature is anything between 40 and 80.
