West 4th Subway, West Village, Manhattan

Someone (not me!) was having some fun with the Wet Paint signs posted in the West 4th subway station. I saw this when coming home from seeing The Hours. Because it’s a central theme in the movie, I just got out my copy of Mrs. Dalloway that Kelly loaned me. I can’t wait to dig into it. Hopefully it will shed some more light on The Hours. It was a dark, depressing film, but wonderfully done. It deserves all of the awards it’s won. I’m positive there will be more to come.
