Snow. Last weekend I returned from Washington to a city decorated with holiday lights and this weekend I return to a city covered in snow. I’m starting to realize that Christmas is approaching quickly, whether I’m ready or not.
The trip to Florida went as well as could be expected. It was sad to say goodbye to my grandma and sad to see my grandpa and realize I may never see him again. But, I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to spend time with him. An opportunity that I didn’t take advantage of before my grandma passed. Also, it was great to have the whole family together. I think it helped tremendously in the grieving and healing processes. It was a strange combination of mixed feelings for everyone, I think. We were all happy to be together, but the circumstances that drew us all to Orlando were very unhappy. I have more old family photos, but need to scan them in yet. Also, I found the obituary that Deb wrote and put in the Appleton Post Crescent.
