New York City: tranquil? peaceful? calming? Not words you would usually use to describe the city. But, after a somewhat frantic weekend in Wisconsin, in which I spent 3 nights in 3 different cities, attended 2 huge family gatherings and doled my time out over 100s of people, these are words I use to describe my feelings of being back in New York. It’s feeling more like home. (Don’t take this the wrong way – it was great to see friends and family that I haven’t seen in quite a while and don’t know when I’ll see again!)
