Jessica and I are firestarters. On Monday night we were in restaurant and right next door there was a fire. We sat and ate our burritos while we watched the firefighters rush in and out. Tonight we shared a cab. At my stop the entire block on 9th Avenue between 49th and 48th is blocked off. Fire trucks, ambulances, police.. the smell of burning in the air. A building at the end of my block is on fire.
