Kissing Jessica Stein is a really fun movie. After going on a nightmarish dating spree, Jessica happens across an intriguing personal ad whose only drawback is that it’s in the ‘woman seeking women’ section. On a whim, she answers the ad and ends up instantly clicking with Helen. The women proceed to muddle through a courtship in which, with conventional gender roles absent, they are forced to make it up as they go along. Very funny. You’ll laugh outloud. Also, I find I’m really enjoying movies that are filmed in The City. It’s fun to recognize stores and neighborhoods in the background of the movie.
