Jay-Z
And the reason I was so tired Friday was because I went out to a club called Scopa on Thursday night. It was a late, late night. My friend’s friend’s fiance’s cousin was working the door and got us in to a private party on the second floor. It was going off! I feel kind of bad because I can’t remember the name of the techno DJ who’s 30th birthday it was. But, I did meet and talk to a New York Knicks player and Jay-Z was there. It was the 2nd time in 3 months that Jay-Z was partying in the same place as me. The difference was that on Thursday night I was drinking huge $15 drinks for free.. .liquid courage, you might say, because I walked up to Jay-Z and talked to him.
Before work on Friday I was so sick. I woke up and puked, took a shower and puked, drank a sip of water and puked. I couldn’t even think about taking the subway to work so I braced myself to go outside. I went out the door, locked the lock, ran down the stairs, outside, looked for a cab, saw one, went back inside, ran up the stairs, unlocked the door, ran to the bathroom and puked. Finally, I got myself outside and got a cab. On the way to work, the cab was racing down the West Side Highway, we were side-by-side with a sweet Mercedes. I rolled the window down and puked out the window.
jigga wha?
ok. im going to write this here because someday ill forget and that would suck if i couldnt remember how my conversation with the jay-z went.
so i walked up to him.. and i was really pretty drunk .. and i actually said DUDE!.. i called the jigga man “dude!”!!!!!!! so i’m like “dude! you were at the club i was at on new years!!” jay-z kind of smirked and said “i was at all the clubs on new years!” and then.. hmm. .. crap! i cant remember already. i might have said soemthing else.. then he took my hand and shook it and said “enjoy.. enjoy.. ” then i probably said something very polite and midwesternish like “you too!” and walked away.
which knicks player?
i dont know which knicks player. i remember one had corn rows and a blackberry pda. he was probably famous but i ran up to him and was like “OHMYGAWD! is that a blackberry!?!” and i think i tried to touch it and he pulled away and walked off. hrmph!
Latrell Sprewell? He’s from Milwaukee! He plays for Minnesota now.
