Yesterday I saw pictures of Angie & Steve’s new baby girl, Emma. I was good friends with Angie for years and I was even in her wedding about 2 years ago. Steve graduated from my high school and in my class. Over the years I’ve moved a few times and we’ve grown apart and lost touch. I can’t even remember the last time I spoke to either of them or even emailled them. And now a forwarded email has proven to me that they have a precious baby girl. It doesn’t seem real to me. I can’t believe that everyone’s life doesn’t stand still and remain in the same place that it was the last time I saw them. Forever, in my mind, Angie will be living with her parents and interning at AAL and Steve will be attending UW-Madison, majoring in English, and secretly longing to be a Mac geek.
