i had new york cares orientation last night. i am now an official new york cares volunteer. i can do anything from walk dogs at a shelter to tutor kids, to feed the hungry to assiting people living with hiv/aids to taking homeless kids on an outing to visiting the elderly. and because i work in the tech industry i could help kids and or businesses or schools with their technical needs.
tonight i am volunteering at ninos to help feed and serve the relief workers who are still toilling away, day and night, at ground zero.
