Last night, 1:30 a.m. coming off the subway, I walk across Broadway and hear this loud crash. I turn around to see a car that was driving down 50th broadside a cab going down Broadway. The cab then slams into a parked van which gets shoved into the parked car in front of it. And then you get that spooky feeling after something like this happens. Like the world has stood still. It’s quiet. It feels like an eternity. And then rude New York cab drivers start beeping at the accident because it’s blocking the road. I return to reality and continue walking down the street.
