  1. i dont think that music spark violence because even though some of the things in music are violent doesnt make somebody go out and do something. Adults make it seem like music has like a secrect messege in it telling kids to be violent which really isnt the case. Most teens listen to the music they do because they need someone that understands them and when kids find their favorite artist its usually because their music connects with them not because of the violence but because of the whole picture what they are talking about yea they put in all the cuss words and such but it doesnt change them its just a weay to vent for some artist.

  2. I think that music does provoke violence. I’m not saying it’s the only factor, but it reaches young people, there have been studies that show that some music brainwashes children into believing that violence is the right thing to do. One student did a study on mice and different types of music, and some music did affect them. I’m a teenager that listens to the music that provokes violence but I know that violence is wrong. Different people will interpret the music different ways. You can’t stop someone from listening to what they want to listen to!!

  3. music does different things to different people. People may say that a song made them do something, but that is just bull. Only you have the right to do whatever it is that you do. A song doesn’t put a gun to your head and tell you to go out and commit a crime. Artists write songs for different reasons. I don’t beleive the purpose of writing a song is to get people to become more violent. Whatever, you can only make yourself do something. Don’t blame it on lyrics of songs, or movies…..Live your own life.

  4. I don’t think music sparks violence. Some people are stupid for thinking it does. Yea the lyrics are violent, but they can’t provoke someone to kill someone else. People are stupid for going out and killing people then blaming it on the music. I mean I listen to music that people say provokes violence, but it doesn’t and I know that. Like Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven”. It doesn’t talk about killing someone, it talks about someone dieing and taking “the stairway to heaven”. So that’s my opinion on this topic.
